I had the best time designing this custom website for Tiffany Barqawi Designs, a Boston-based interior designer known for her warm, modern aesthetic and timeless spaces. Tiffany’s interiors are stunning, and I wanted her site to reflect that same sense of ease, sophistication, and attention to detail.
All of the website examples and imagery shown in this post are from Tiffany’s website and brand, used with permission.
Whether you’re an interior designer looking to elevate your digital presence or you’re simply curious about how to create a site that feels as elevated as your portfolio—here are five strategic design tips I used in Tiffany’s site (and every designer site I create) to help attract aligned, high-end clients.
Your homepage is the digital version of walking into a beautifully styled space. It needs to feel instantly you—high-end, curated, and unmistakably your brand. Use a strong hero image, a simple tagline, and make sure your color palette and fonts are cohesive with your interior style.
Your portfolio is everything. Highlight 3–5 of your most aligned projects. Use full-width images, not tiny grids. Include a short description of each project to help SEO and give context—mention the style, scope, and location.
Don’t bury your services in vague language or hard-to-find pages. Use simple, elegant sections that walk potential clients through your process. Show how you work, what they can expect, and give a starting price to pre-qualify serious leads.
Design gets attention, but words build connection. Use testimonials, press mentions, or client quotes to create credibility. On your About page, go beyond your bio—share your design philosophy and what sets your studio apart.
Don’t make potential clients hunt for how to work with you. Add “Book Now,” “Let’s Design Together,” or “Inquire Today” buttons throughout your site. A short contact form on your Services page can increase conversions instantly.
Designing Tiffany’s website was so much fun—and it’s exactly the kind of creative collaboration I love most. If you’re an interior designer looking for a site that feels elevated, strategic, and totally aligned with your brand, I’d love to chat.
